• Cumberland County Show near Carlisle : Old Cumberland's rich agricultural heritage comes to life with hundreds of fascinating displays and stands, animals, day-long entertainment and crafts. 

3 August 2008

• Gilsland Agricultural Show near Brampton : Near historic Hadrian's Wall this glorious show has a rich heritage and features pony sports, vintage vehicles, craft marquee, dog displays, Cumberland and Westmorland wrestling, terrier racing, children's sports and trade stands stalls.
