Senhouse Roman Museum

The Senhouse Roman Museum displays the Netherhall Collection of Roman artefacts in a Grade II listed Naval Reserve Battery overlooking the Solway.

The unique collection is the oldest in Britain, and includes sculptures and inscriptions of international importance.

Recent additions to the award winning museum include a watchtower and the Kirby Gallery, which tells the story of the Battery.

1 November – 31 March, 10.30 am – 4.00 pm  (Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

Admission charges apply.

The museum is clearly signposted from the town centre.
