Ravenglass Railway Museum

Ravenglass Railway Museum tells the story of the Little Railway to Eskdale, known locally as La’al Ratty.  A new character leads visitors from its origins carrying iron ore, through 125 turbulent years of carrying passengers.  Old trains, models, relics and photos, linked by an audio visual show, enhance this beautiful rail journey through magnificent scenery and dramatic heritage.

10.00 am – 5.00 pm daily, end of March to end of October, and winter school holidays whenever passenger trains run.
Entry free, car park charge.
