Eden Arts (Eden District Council)

EDEN ARTS is a Charitable Trust, and is the Local Arts Development Agency for Eden District, funded by Eden District Council, Arts Council England (North West) and Cumbria County Council. 

Eden Arts promotes arts events and exhibitions in Eden, including the North Pennines Storytelling Festival and Eden Open Studios, and gives support and advice on arts and cultural activity to community groups and artists in Eden and to the general public.  Eden Arts also provides the most complete arts listings service in the district, with further information on its website and in its quarterly newsletter Arts Update, which can be picked up in libraries and Tourist Information Centres in Eden. 

Eden Arts also undertakes research, consultancy and project management of initiatives throughout Cumbria, and beyond. Currently this work includes literature development as a New Writing Development Service is being delivered for Cumbria County Council. This includes editing and publishing the All Write newsletter, available from libraries and independent bookshops throughout Cumbria.
