Rosehill Theatre

Rosehill Theatre is set in it’s own grounds in Moresby, on the outskirts of Whitehaven.  The creation of Hungarian immigrant Sir Nicholas Sekers over forty years ago, it now boasts a year round programme of film, classical music, rock/pop, drama, comedy, children’s shows and illustrated talks.

The theatre has a bar, bistro, and has good access for people with disabilities – facilities include ramped entrance, platform lift to auditorium and bistro, wheelchair places in the auditorium and accessible WC.  There are disabled parking spaces opposite the front entrance.  Guide dogs are welcome and there is an induction loop in the auditorium for those patrons using a hearing aid with T setting.
We can offer crèche facilities on performance nights

There is a large free car park. 

Adjacent to the theatre there is a great facility for hire seven days a week.  
Rosehill Barn can be used for Wedding Receptions, Christenings, Parties, Workshops, Conferences, Seminars, Meetings, Rehearsals and Performances.  

We have a mailing list and anyone wishing to be added can contact the theatre by any of the above ways.  We offer discounts for concessionary groups: i.e. over 60’s, under 16’s, full time students and those receiving disability benefits or job seekers allowance. We run the “Rosehill Card Scheme” offering all performances for a monthly fee, for further details ring the Box Office. 

Rosehill is a registered charity, No. 250846, and is managed by a Board of Trustees and supported by Cumbria County Council, Copeland Borough Council and Arts Council North West.
