Creative Space - A Photography Project for County Council staff

Cumbria County Council has appointed a professional photographer to take up a year-long residency. The aim is for staff to use the creative process of photography  to explore staff perceptions, understanding of Cumbria County Council and the services it provides.  The project has a simple positive message, that staff creativity is valued.

How much are we defined by how we earn our living?  Or do our true identities lie elsewhere?  

Photography, poetry, prose, fiction, philosophy, criticism, suggestions, observations; to name but a few approaches …….to reflect upon the nature of work, the workplace and life in the round.

I am looking for your photographic images or written contributions that are able to shed some light on this and other workplace issues. 

They will be presented on a webpage that brings together your contributions to thinking ‘outside of the box’.  Please send your photographs and written contributions (in any format) to:
