Through its Soundwave Youth Music Action Zone project Cumbria aims to develop a cumbrian music identity by empowering local musicians and communities.

Cumbria County Council with support from Youth Music and Local District Authorities and partners aims to increase music making opportunities for young people, signposting young people to music careers.
